Ryan A. JotieA South Bay native, Ryan grew up in Hawthorne, CA, where sports quickly became a central part of his life. He began playing soccer with AYSO in Manhattan Beach and went on to compete with at the club level. Alongside soccer, Ryan discovered a passion for volleyball, competing locally with Beach Cities Volleyball Club before becoming a multi-sport varsity athlete in both volleyball and soccer. His talent on the court earned him a collegiate volleyball recruitment, though an injury shifted his playing career and opened the door to coaching.

Over the years, Ryan has coached boys and girls ages 12–18 at the club and high school levels in Torrance, CA, Manhattan Beach, CA, and Reno, NV, and also served as the Assistant Coach for Women’s Collegiate Volleyball at Compton College. Today, he continues to mentor and develop young athletes as a coach for girls’ club volleyball at 310 Sports Academy.

Outside of athletics, Ryan has built a decade of experience in the medical field, specializing in Orthopedics. He has held roles including Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, Orthopedic Technologist, DME Manager, Operations Supervisor, and Manager of Clinical Services. With an educational background in Healthcare Administration, he has developed strong expertise in patient care, clinical leadership, and operational management.

At The Victory Project, Ryan combines his healthcare leadership, coaching experience, and deep roots in the South Bay community to advance the organization’s mission of empowerment, resilience, and growth. His commitment to mentorship and building strong teams is at the heart of his work, both in healthcare and through The Victory Project.
